Street Volkswagen of Amarillo will team up with Team Tatum next month by hosting a cook-out for the community. The company will raise money at the event and 100% of the proceeds will go to Team Tatum.
Amarillo, TX, June 28, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Street Volkswagen of Amarillo will hold a fundraiser event at the dealership on July 23, 2016 in honor of eight-year old Tatum of Canyon, Texas who was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma.
Street Volkswagen of Amarillo has team up with Amarillo National Bank who will have their cooker on site and serve burgers, chips, cookies and a drink for $5.00. 100% of the proceeds will go to Team Tatum.

“We are excited to be holding this event next month,” Sindy Monasmith, Customer Care Manager said. “When we first heard of this little girl we knew we had to do something to help her and her family.”
Tatum was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her leg and an area on her spine. Osteosarcoma is a rare form of bone cancer that happens in children. Street Volkswagen of Amarillo Employees will start collecting money before the event and at the event for Team Tatum.
“We will have a dunking booth at our event and employees will be donating money to dunk their favorite manager,” Monasmith said. “We will have many incentives for employees to participate and we expect a great turnout next month.”
The event begins at 11am on Saturday, July 23rd and will last until 3pm. The community is invited to attend and for only $5.00 enjoy lunch.
