Amarillo, Texas, May 20, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Street Volkswagen of Amarillo is excited to showcase two limited edition models of the Volkswagen Beetle. The 2016 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible 1.8T Denim and the 2016 Volkswagen Beetle 1.8T Dune Coupe are now on sale at the dealership.
Street Volkswagen of Amarillo has received two different models of the limited edition Volkswagen Beetle. The first is the 2016 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible 1.8T Denim available in two colors and the second is the 2016 Volkswagen Beetle 1.8T Dune available in three colors. Both models of the Volkswagen Beetle are only available for a limited time and only a limited number of models have been produced.

The 2016 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible 1.8T Denim model boasts a 1.8L TSI DOHC 16V Turbo 4-Cylinder Direct Injection Engine. It has four-wheel independent suspension and Servotronic Electro-Mechanical Power Steering. Volkswagen plans to only build and sell 2,000 Beetles making it very hard to get your hands on one.
The exterior of the 2016 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible 1.8T Denim has 17” Alloy Wheels with All-Season Tires, a Power Convertible Roof with Insulated Glass Rear Window, Automatic Headlights with Daytime Running Lights, Heated, Foldable Power Adjustable Side Mirrors, Front Wipers Blades with Heated Washer Nozzles and a Rear Spoiler. This model is available in two colors: Pure White or Stonewashed Blue.
“We’ve already received two Stonewashed Blue models and a Pure White model,” Shane Giese, New Car Sales Manager said. “We sold the first Stonewashed Blue Beetle before it even arrived at our dealership and people keep calling and asking if we have any in our inventory.”
The 2016 Volkswagen Beetle 1.8T Dune Coupe is available in three colors: Sandstorm Yellow, Pure White or Deep Black Pearl. This Beetle has a raised suspension with a wider track, big rear spoiler, new front and rear bumper, 18” wheels and fog lights and LED taillights. Only 1,800 units will be produced by Volkswagen.
